Andrea Johnson Swope CEO

Andrea ensures the core principles of Maplewood Investments are the primary consideration for making all decisions about how we operate, who we bring onto our team, and who we partner with.

Her entire career has been in financial services, and she has broad experience managing teams focused on operations, client service, and business processing. She joined the Maplewood Investments team when the firm became affiliated with the Blueprint family of companies in 2024.

Prior to joining Maplewood Investments, Andrea was:

• President of Blueprint Financial Advisors
• Head of Business Development for National Accounts at Braver Wealth Management
• Marketing Associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney

She has experience in:

• Advisor integration
• Operational efficiencies
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Brand management and marketing
• Business development

Her financial services career began at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where she helped run a quant strategy.

Andrea first planted roots in North Carolina in 2002, when she moved to Charlotte to attend Gardner-Webb University. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Quantitative Analysis.

She and her husband Jonathan reside in Charlotte and spend their free time cooking, traveling, enjoying live music, and spending time with their family and friends. They welcomed their son Colt in January of 2022 and daughter Piper in January 2024.
