Tri-Party Clearing Services

In 2000, Maplewood Investments began offering Tri-Party Clearing services to small broker-dealers. Tri-Party or "piggyback" clearing is an agreement between Maplewood as the introducing firm, Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions (FCCS) through National Financial Services, LLC as the custodian, and an intermediary firm. The purpose is to allow access to major clearing firm systems and products, with fewer expenses, and an introducing firm functioning as the mid-backoffice.
